MundoFox appoints Adriana Ibañez as executive VP of Programming

Adriana Ibañez has been named executive VP of Programming for the new Hispanic broadcast network MundoFox. In her new position, Ibañez will be responsible for overseeing the network’s entire programming strategy and content acquisitions.Based out of Los Angeles, Ibañez will begin on August 1 and will report directly to network president Emiliano Saccone.“Securing the services of a proven executive like Adriana is a huge ‘get’ for MundoFox” said Mr. Saccone. “Her excellent track record of discovering and bringing innovative and audience-pleasing programming to market will prove invaluable to our future success. We are delighted to have her join our expanding team as we move full speed towards launch.”Ibañez comes to MundoFox after serving as executive VP of Programming for Telemundo Media. During her nine years with the media company, she helped it acquire an original content model, and it was recognized as the fastest growing Spanish-language broadcast network in total-day and prime time. MundoFox will be available in 75% Hispanic households at the time of its launch on August 13.
