NATPE forecasts significant business activity in Miami as buyer participation hits record levels

With participation by domestic and international buyers hitting record levels, the NATPE|Content First Market and Conference in Miami is poised to have one of its most active business markets ever, NATPE president and CEO Rod Perth said this Tuesday. Attendance figures for domestic and international buyers attending NATPE are pacing well ahead of last year. In addition, a groundbreaking keynote session with Fred Graver, Twitter’s head of TV, Jean-Philippe Maheu, Twitter’s managing director, Global Brand & Agency Strategy, and Glenn Brown, Twitter’s director of Promoted Content and Sponsorships, and will carry through the theme “No Barriers. New Business,” and examine how buyers, sellers, distributors and advertisers can leverage the extraordinary power of Twitter to enhance their business. Lauren Zalaznick, founder of LZ Sunday Papers, will moderate the conversation. “We are very optimistic based on the numbers that the 2014 NATPE market and conference will be one of the most active in our history. We are building on our relevance to the video content industry and the tremendous amount of energy and momentum created last year,” said Perth. “The keynote conversation will have particular resonance with the NATPE community as we debate how to maximize the power of content through social media.
