Netflix is taking a turn, regarding its contents, towards realities and non-scripted series. For the end of this year, they will launch Todo El Mundo A La Mesa, a global cuisine competition show that presents the most renowned chefs in the world, struggling for a place at “the table” made up of the best chefs in the whole world.
The renowned Mexican chef, Enrique Olvera, will join a group of nine culinary stars as kitchen leaders of the series. Todo El Mundo A La Mesa presents 12 teams of two chefs from around the world, cooking national dishes from Mexico, Spain, England, Brazil, France, Japan, The United States, India, and Italy. Each episode is centered on a different country and its cuisine, with ambassador celebrities, gastronomy critics, and the best chef in each country, eliminating contestants until the end.
The show is produced by theoldschool, creators and executive producers of The Final Table, MasterChef y MasterChef Junior.
In Septiembre, Netflix will launch its first Mexican reality show called Made in México, that follows the life of nine Mexican celebrities and shows their imperfect lives. The series is produced by Love Productions USA and includes Richard McKerrow, Kevin Bartel, and Brandon Panaligan as executive producers and Lauren Volonakis and Matthew Moul as executive co-producers.
