Netflix premieres in Mexico Camelia la Texana developed by Campanario and produced by Argos Televisión

Netflix will exclusively premiere on August 21st in Mexico the hit television series Camelia la Texana, starring lead actress Sara Maldonado (Camelia Pineda) and Erik Hayser (Emilio Varela) and inspired by the popular corrido Contrabando y Traición by Los Tigres del Norte. Set in the 70’s, the production was developed by Campanario Entertainment and produced by Argos Televisión.“Camelia la Texana is a revolutionary character. For Campanario, it was important to find a partner that was equally as revolutionary to launch this iconic story of Mexican folklore. The 60-episode television series was created by Diego Ramón Bravo and written by Rodrigo Ordoñez, Hilario Peña and Marcelo Tobar. The director is Carlos Bolado and the producer is Tita Lombardo.
