New for VIP 2000 at NATPE 2014: Re-mastering and color correction service, VIP 2000 app, and new films

VIP 2000 comes to Natpe 2014 full of news. These include a re-mastering and color correction service as a result of a partnership with a renowned lab; a stronger catalog of movies featuring blockbusters such as The Hobbit 2 and The Expendables 3, among others; and the launch of its downloadable app VIP 2000, through which clients will be able to access the company’s catalog digitally.“Through our partnership with the lab, we re-mastered in HD and colorized classics such as Pantanal, Xica Da Silva and Doña Bella. This allows clients such as Televen in Venezuela and Gamavisión in Ecuador, to re-air these wildly successful novelas completely re-mastered,” told PRODU Rosalind Rotundo, vice-president of VIP 2000.Part of the company’s services includes a catalog with 250 hours of sports documentaries and 250 hours re-mastered variety shows. “One of our main clients is Time Warner Cable Deportes in the U.S., to which we offered 100 hours of re-mastered content in HD. This material is original footage: the greatest goals, the history of soccer teams and of stadiums, among others,” she added.Rotundo also pointed out that in the past two years, the U.S. Hispanic market has contributed to the company’s growth, where it has closed deals with clients such as CNN, Pasiones and Olympusat. VIP 2000 also reaffirmed it commitment to Latin America.“We believe there is a promising future in the U.S. Hispanic market. We’ve backed our clients in times of crisis and in good times, and we believe this will continue in 2014,” she added.
