“I think open TV will always remain strong for three reasons: the first is the scope, the second, we are the only media that is measured down to the minute by Ibope or by Nielsen and in third place, the effectiveness we have in delivering clients’ advertising,” commented Eric Jürgensen, CEO of América TV during a poll conducted in NEXTV CEO LatAm in Miami.
According to Patricio Hernández, CEO of Mega, the event was particularly interesting because it allows different actors in the value chain of television to understand what is happening at each stage. “We are finally seeing that open TV has to jump up to all the advantages digital communication delivers.”
According to Julio Di Bella, CEO of Stargroup – Star TV, the event was an opportunity to “refresh the mind, listen to colleagues who have posed innovative solutions, acquire new knowledge and do business.”
Rodrigo Violante, CTO of Blim said that the encounter was positive to “talk with providers and see what new technologies they have and what can work for us.”
“It is interesting to see all the opinions of those who participate in what is related to news distribution, types of platforms, how to enter the market and what are the consumption habits that are dictating where the industry is heading,” expressed David Guerra, Sales Director for Latin America and US Hispanic at NeuLion.
Ismael Velasco, Business Development Global VP at 24/i, commented that the main incentive to participate was the list of speakers that was “very complete”.
