Olympusat: In 2017 we will duplicate our content

Yeshuah Castillo, VP for Original Productions at Olympusat, said that in 2017 they will duplicate their content and for that they have already chosen and selected the material. “I started about six months ago. And we now have more than 50 films that were created at that moment. We currently have six in pre-production”.
A team to back this large content production has been gradually consolidated. “We currently have six independent production companies at work. I have a team of eight writers in Mexico City. Additionally I have 30 editors in Miami and we plan to expand to Mexico, where I just added six.” Castillo stated that the idea is to do everything in Mexico in the future due to convenience.
Olympusat currently has 12 dubbing rooms that started operations this month. “We have a room entirely devoted to castings and in February, 26 editors will start working.”
Castillo commented that this year they will go to Medellín with four romantic comedies. “And from there we will go to Puerto Rico, where we will make approximately 50 hours of content.”
