With the grand finale of Vino El Amor and the premiere of La Doble Vida de Estela Carrillo, Univision finished as the No. 1 Spanish-language network on Monday night with doubled the audience of its closest competitor among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. Univision also out-delivered CBS, FOX and CW for the entire night among Adults 18-34.
During the 8pm hour, the finale of Vino el Amor averaged 2.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.2 million Adults 18-49 and 521,000 Adults 18-34 while it also positioned Univision as the No. 1 Spanish-language network with doubled the audience of its closest competitor.
The concluding episode of the Napa Valley love story also increased its audience in the second half-hour compared to the first half-hour by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+12%), Adults 18-49 (+15%) and Adults 18-34 (+24%).
The premiere of La Doble Vida de Estela Carrillo reached 4.9 million Total Viewers 2+, who tuned in to all or part of the one-hour simulcast airing on Univision and UniMás. The modern-day original story from acclaimed producer Rosy Ocampo averaged 3.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.5million Adults 18-49 and 619,000 Adults 18-34 during its simulcast debut.
