Mi Marido Tiene Familia (100×60′), Juan Osorio´s new original production, in comedy format, will be one of Televisa´s main bet to strengthen their presence in the international markets.
The telenovela, whose shooting began on April 10 in Oaxaca, will be on the air June 5, on primetime at 8pm on Las Estrellas, starring Zuria Vega, Daniel Arenas, Diana Bracho and Silvia Pinal.
For Osorio, the changes that open TV are currently experimenting are reasons “to look for new, more attractive contents that allow us to conquer once again not only this audience but also the international audience, that the company is interested in reconquering.”
The producer wants to replicate and exceed the format used in his previous production, Mi Corazón es Tuyo, taking into account the challenge that comedy as a genre represents in a TV product. That is why he chose the actor Héctor Bonilla, who will now also tap into his experience as a director.
A month after its launch in Mexico, Mi Marido Tiene Familia reaches the screen of Univision.
