The Spanish-speaking channel focused on extreme sports PX Sports, announced its arrival to Izzi, to attract more than four million Mexican operator subscribers through exclusive niche content.
PX Sports will be available from the basic package to the HD Premium offer. With this move, the signal will reach more than 28 million homes in 20 countries.
This is the right move for the company, as it continues to focus on consolidating the broadcast of sports and entertainment content, increasing its international distribution.
“2022 was a very successful year for PX Sports, we had a 25% increase in distribution. We launched in different systems such as Telecentro in Argentina and Dish Mexico; now, in 2023, we joined the operator Izzi, allowing us to reach its more than four million subscribers,” said Óscar Mercado, Director of Operations at PX Sports.
“We closed production alliances with Mediapro, as well as a content alliance with Ubeat, entering the gaming world since it is the trend,” he added.
PX Sports will continue to exclusively include the best sports events in the Spanish-speaking region. Among them, the 2023 Pan American Surfing Games.
