Ricardo Salinas inaugurates in Mexico Azteca´s new sound stages

Azteca America and Azteca Novelas started on a new era in the history of television. The new Azteca Novelas studios have the most advanced cutting edge technology in television production in Latin America. The investment of tens of millions of dollars are made in an effort to turn Azteca in the main Spanish-language broadcaster in the world. In the grand ceremony, led by Javier Alatorre and Pati Chapoy, president of Grupo Salinas, owner of Azteca America and Azteca Novelas, Ricardo Salinas expressed his satisfaction with the new achievement: “These new forums are a commitment that we dream to be the best Spanish-language broadcaster in the world, a television that is always ready to innovate, to entertain, inform and to form with values its audience.” He added: “These forums are a symbol of Azteca wants to keep growing, changing and becoming better. Our commitment to the hearing will continue quality content within our code of values. And our commitment to advertisers will continue to produce the best embedded content, to involve the major brands and more powerful with high quality programs we do here.” Azteca America’s talent was part of the opening ceremony: Gaby Spanic, Edith González, Mauricio Islas, Tatiana, Rodolfo Jiménez, Luisa Fernanda, Daniel Bisogno, Peter Sola, Juan Barragan, Aline Hernandez, Monica Garza, Roberto Ruiz, Christian Lara, Marta Susana, Omar Fierro Yahir and many more were present. The seven studios that make up the new complex, are fully equipped to broadcast in high definition, with the latest audio and image technology. This is a sustainable building over 5,000 square meters that integrates from backstage to gym and spa, all in an eco-friendly kind to the planet. With the new studios Azteca America takes a step forward in producing unique content that can meet the most demanding consumers and advertisers, further consolidation is sought on new platforms and distribution channels of content.
