RT en Español, a paid TV network by Grupo RT in Russia, will launch a special in March about Julian Assange, founder of the website WikiLeaks. Our channel has gotten the rights to launch this program, and it will outline the events and phenomenons occurring in the world in the near future, and the people that this future depends on said Victoria Vorontsova, assistant director of Grupo RT and director of RT en Español. The network launched in December of 2009 and is now a part of the group of 130 operators of paid TV in Latin America and the Hispanic market of the US. Their program content, produced 90% in-house, is centered on news, sports information and interview shows. At the end of 2012, all of Grupo RTs channels will be converted to HD, like RT America, which is already transmitted in HD.
