PBS, the US public broadcaster, and GSN closed an agreement with RTVE to broadcast the two seasons of the series La Otra Mirada (with a total of 21 episodes), produced by RTVE in collaboration with Boomerang TV.
Starring Patricia López Arnaiz and Macarena García, the series addresses the role of women in the early 1920s set in an academy for young ladies in Seville clinging to traditions.

The series depicts the society of the time by presenting the relationship between brave adult women and young girls filled with hope who face issues and challenges which, unfortunately, still linger nowadays, such as harassment, mistreatment, discovery of sexual identity, machismo, conciliation or wage gap, among others, and defends values such as freedom, respect, equality and tolerance.
