Sabbatical Entertainment was at Mipcom presenting Time Capsule 1969, a special about a year that changed the world; Karl Lagerfeld Fashionator, a program about the legendary German designer; and James Bond, For Our Eyes Only, a tribute tailored to the character that celebrates the 25th film of the 007 saga, No time to die, scheduled to be released in 2020.
All three shows possess language and aesthetic that reinvent the combination of traditional documentary and docu-fiction, bringing together the rigor of facts with a creative, entertaining and dynamic narration.
“If there’s one thing that has powerfully differentiated Sabbatical Entertainment’s offering, within the entertainment industry, in an age when everything is transformed at a bewildering and continuous speed, is its ability to create spectacular productions with great flexibility, in terms of its Li-gital format, linear and digital, in a great diversity of themes, durations and genres,” explained Miguel Somoza, CEO of the company.
In addition, Sabbatical Entertainment gave a sneak peek of its traditional year-end special Best of the Best, filled with great surprises as they celebrate the end of a decade, and also presented its new TV magazine 10-in-10 co-produced with High Hill Productions.
At Mipcom 2109, Sabbatical Entertainment also promoted the diverse catalog it has developed over its first two years, with a menu that offers options across various genres, from children’s series to sports specials to documentaries to entertainment, for all audiences.
