In the context of MIPCancun, Sabbatical Entertainment is looking for possible co-production opportunities that continue improving the content they develop.
“This year we managed to finish two documentaries, El Espía que Amo and Vigilante, la Biografía del Hombre Murciélago; and two specials: Lo Mejor de lo Mejor 2020 and Somos Uno,” comments Miguel Somoza, CEO of Sabbatical Entertainment.
He explained that the lesson learned from attending virtual events is efficiency. “Virtual meetings with clients must be organized, direct, and succinct. Although this mechanism fosters productivity, face-to-face interaction with clients is the main reason why we have the important relations we do in this industry,” he adds.
Somoza has great expectations for 2021 with the distribution of content through the alliance with Caracol International. Sabbatical Entertainment´s list of projects for 2021 includes three documentaries, three specials, and more than 100 short-format pieces. Additionally, next year, Sabbatical Brazil will finish several productions that were suspended due to the pandemic. “At Natpe we will announce these titles”.
