Somos Distribution signed a worldwide distribution agreement for the first fiction mega production of the Latin American television Secretos, developed and produced by Ecuavisa. Secretos covers a range of different narrative genres, from drama to comedy, even with a touch of thriller and was created by Peky Andino, the renowned playwright, raising the standards of the national television to a point that has never been reached before. Secretos stories immerse the viewer in a mix of contemporary suspense, psychological thriller, drama and comedy, but with the theme of love as a strong thread tying the stories together. The show consists of 21 one-hour episodes with love as the starting point and as their plot axis. Secretos was filmed following digital cinemas language and optical standards to create a pioneer product in the Latin American market. The stories were created from the day to day life situations and filmed in vivid locations, with the goal of becoming an export product that breaks through local and regional stereotypes. The drama was recorded in more than 300 real locations during the 100 days of production, with the participation of more than 500 recognized national and international talent and 500 extras.
