Sport network beIN Sport begins transmissions on DirecTV

The new 24-hour sport network beIN Sport has announced the launch of its programming on DIRECTV as of Wednesday August 15. DirecTV subscribers are able to access all the sports content beIN Sport has to offer, like matches and behind-the-scenes coverage. The programming that beIN Sport will be offering includes the top soccer leagues and tournaments from Europe and South America, including Spain’s La Liga, Italy’s Serie A, France’s Ligue Un, South American World Cup Qualifiers and Copa America 2015. Both the Spanish and English-language channels will be available in standard definition, though the English version will also be offered in HD.
