TeleFutura launches its new contest Quiero ser estrella presented by Sears

TeleFutura launched its new contest Quiero ser estrella patrocinado por Sears (I Want to be a Star Presented by Sears). From the producers of the successful Buscando la doble de Selena (Searching for Selena’s Double), this contest gives aspiring artists an opportunity to showcase their talent in singing, dancing, acting, or anything exceptional for the chance to win up to $15,000 in cash and prizes. Starting this week, those who wish to participate can access the contest guidelines and submit videos via {www.univision.com} (keyword: Quiero ser estrella).Every Tuesday, starting on October 26, {Univision.com} users will choose three semi-finalists who will compete live on the Friday of that respective week on TeleFutura’s Escándalo TV (Mon-Fri, 2pm). A panel of judges will choose two of the three semi-finalists who will move on to the grand finale. The winner will be selected in November during the star-studded finale special of Quiero ser estrella patrocinado por Sears, where the six finalists will perform live for a chance to win the grand prize.Semi-finalists to be announced beginning October 26, 2010.
