TeleFutura presents La Pola this Monday May 2nd

TeleFutura Network announced the premiere of its new primetime novela La Pola, a co-production of Sony Pictures Television (SPT) and RCN Colombia.La Pola debuts on Monday May 2nd at 7pm. This novela talks about the heroic story of Policarpa Salavarrieta, aka “La Pola”, (Carolina Ramírez), a woman who challenged an entire empire and the clash of social classes and race. In a time when the unforgiving Spanish empire ruled with an iron fist and treason was punished at the stake, a courageous and relentless young woman puts all social oppression aside to risk it all –her honor, her liberty and her life– for the man she loves, Alejo Sabranín (Emmanuel Esperanza), a wealthy and educated aristocrat with direct lineage to the King of Spain.
