Carlos Murguía, general producer of Telehit, rated this signal as a concept and format laboratory that recently launched its application for mobile devices, thus closing the second stage of the channel’s relaunching. He mentioned the interest in generating documentaries and animation projects.
Since the relaunching in October this year, Telehit continues its bet on new strategies, not just to favor its audience in pay TV and digital, but also its advertisers and that way create a custom-made product. The projects that support this include the launching of the second screen application for mobile devices, the 19 programs already released, and for 2018, the intention of expanding genres that include documentary and animation.
“We have everything for everyone, but the most important part the Telehit platform had to polish was the application we launched for iOS and Android, in the aim for the audience to interact with all the programs and the musicals. It is the second screen,” commented Carlos Murguía, general producer of Telehit, a Televisa Networks signal.
He explained that the purpose of generating short formats, managing to have 19 programs only in this end of the year, is to offer commercial partners a specific array of products for their brands.
To end, he mentioned the interest in broadening formats and exploring animation and documentaries, capturing new talent, as well as closing alliances with independent producers. “That way we will prove that we are a concept and format, not just music laboratory”.
