Following the May reveal of its 2020-21 season lineup and as part of NBCUniversal’s 30 Rock: A One-Time Special Upfront event airing this Thursday, July 16 at 8pm ET/PT on NBC, Telemundo announced international superstar Kate del Castillo (Bad Boys for Life, The 33, Ingobernable, Weeds, All About Nina) will reprise her role as Teresa Mendoza in the third season of La Reina del Sur.

NBCUniversal’s Upfront special will celebrate the stories and talent featured across its properties in the upcoming 2020-21 television season. The new format reflects the increasingly direct relationship between NBCUniversal, its fans and its partners, and allows all audiences to tune in for a sneak peek at the future of NBCUniversal’s programming. The hour-long, commercial-free event to premiere on NBC will be rebroadcast across USA Network, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, and CNBC as well as available to stream on Peacock on Friday, July 17.
The upfront special follows Telemundo’s May unveiling of its next season’s programming lineup including popular returning shows Enemigo Intimo, Falsa Identidad, and Exatlon; as well as new series Café con Aroma de Mujer, Buscando a Frida, La Suerte de Loli and Malverde, and its new reality competition El Domo del Dinero.
