Telemundo announced the production of La Suerte de Loli (Loli’s Luck), starring renowned Mexican actress Silvia Navarro as Loli, in her debut appearance on the Hispanic network.
Scheduled to be filmed later this year, the original dramedy will also include the special participation from Mexican star and Telemundo’s very own, Jacky Bracamontes. The series is slated to premiere in 2021.
“We are excited to welcome Silvia, one of the most well-known actors in Mexico, to the Telemundo family for the first time to lead this original and contemporary story. La Suerte de Loli will deliver a true mix of comedy and drama, with a wide cast of relatable characters and storylines for our viewers to enjoy,” said Marcos Santana, president, Telemundo Global Studios.
La Suerte de Loli is an original idea by Lorena Miraglia and María José Riera, with Ricardo Alvarez and Amaris Páez serving as Head Writers, Berenica Cárdenas, Christian Jiménez and Felipe Espinet as Writers, and Alejandro Quesada as Literary Advisor. Marcos Santana will be Showrunner of the series.
La Suerte de Loli will tell the story of Loli, a single and successful radio producer with a free spirit, living life with no attachments or complications. She’s a woman who has never found true love and has made the decision to never have children of her own. However, after her best friend’s unexpected death, Loli’s complication-free life will be turned upside down when she becomes a parent to the children left behind by her friend.
