At the start of 2020, a second edition of the Fellowship for producers at Telemundo Global Studios will be launched. The first edition, inaugurated last Monday, August 19, will have a duration of 18 months, but the second one will start much sooner.
“We are going to have a second generation of the Fellowship very soon, we are not waiting for the first one to end. We need more talent to help us continue growing and producing with more quality and better stories to be able to advance towards the future,” explained Fabrizio Alcobe, Senior Talento VP at Telemundo Global Studios, who supervises the project.
He highlighted that there are seven producers participating in the program from Mexico, Miami and Colombia: Martha Godoy, Ximena Cantuarias, Marcel Ferrer, Mariana Iskandanari, Miguel Varoni, and David Posada.
When consulted on if these talents would contribute to raising the number of hours produced by the studios, he answered affirmatively and added that these students also “bring new voices that represent the audience generation of the future and the diversity of countries that are necessary for our content to be able to travel. The knowledge they bring to the table is going to enable us to be even better,” he added.
