Telemundo Media and Warner Music Latina sign partnership to develop new and up-and-coming Latin musical talent

Telemundo Media and Warner Music Latina have announced a partnership through which the two entertainment companies will collaborate on the signing and development of new and up-and-coming Latin musical talent.The first artist to be signed under the agreement is novela sensation Gabriel Coronel, Telemundo’s newest heartthrob, who is best known for his portrayal of Mauricio Blanco on Relaciones Peligrosas. The 25-year-old, who studied at the Vicente Emilio Sojo Conservatory of Music in Venezuela, also recorded the theme song for the popular series that launched his television career.As part of the partnership, Warner Music Latina will work with Telemundo to sign, market and promote Latin music stars. Warner Music Latina will oversee all musical aspects, and Telemundo will run multi-platform promotional campaigns on its networks, Telemundo and mun2, as well as its local and digital properties.“This innovative collaboration with Warner Music Latina underscores our commitment to take Telemundo beyond linear television and serve as the home for the most relevant and popular Hispanic stars and content in the U.S.,” said Emilio Romano, president, Telemundo Media.“This is a powerful partnership which will provide new opportunities for multi-talented artists, create unique fan experiences and expand the creative and commercial possibilities for both companies,” said Inigo Zabala, president, Warner Music Latin America.
