Telemundo Media announces Natalia Jiménez as music coach for second season of La Voz Kids

Telemundo Media announces music star Natalia Jiménez will join as the first of three music coaches on the second season of the network’s highest-rated reality show La Voz Kids, set to premiere in the spring of 2014. Following the success of the first season which reached over 14.5 million Total Viewers, the reality series features the country’s best young vocalists between the ages of seven and 15 competing for a recording contract and a cash prize to support their education. Produced for the first time out of Universal Studios Florida, La Voz Kids will once again give Telemundo’s audience the opportunity to witness how the stars of the future are discovered and developed. “Natalia brings to La Voz Kids a fresh and young energy that will surely connect with the contestants and our audience. Her international experience, unique voice and charming personality, will add to the show a very special touch that we are sure will inspire and motivate the young contestants to give their best on the La Voz stage,” said Daniel Cubillo, vice president of Content Development, Non-Scripted at Telemundo.Born in Madrid, Spain, Natalia Jiménez is an award-winning singer who became known as the lead vocalist of the Spanish pop band, La Quinta Estación. La Voz Kids is a presentation of Talpa Media USA Inc. The show is created by John de Mol, who will executive-produce along with Stijn Bakkers and Katrina Fernández.
