Ronald Day: We look to innovate to give the viewer successful franchises

Large franchises such as El Señor de los Cielos, La Casa de los Famosos, and La Reina del Sur support Telemundo’s content strategy, but the network’s DNA, as Ronald Day, president of Entertainment and Content Strategy, points out, is the series.

“We look to innovate to give the viewer these successful franchises. We also continue with a 365 days of reality strategy. El Señor de los Cielos 9 is enhanced and spectacular,” Day noted.

He reminded that the network, in terms of sports, is already preparing for the Summer Olympics, “and believe it or not, we are already in full force for the 2026 World Cup.”
