Falsa Identidad 2 de Telemundo
Telemundo released a featurette of the new season of hit series Falsa Identidad (False Identity) premiering on Tuesday, September 22 at 10pm/9C.
Showcasing the lead cast, the video features exclusive interviews with Luis Ernesto Franco (Señora Acero, Ingobernable), Camila Sodi (Luis Miguel la Serie, Rubí), Samadhi Zendejas (Mariposa de Barrio, Enemigo Íntimo), Eduardo Yáñez (La Reina del Sur S2), Dulce María (Rebelde), Otto Sirgo (Enemigo Íntimo) and Uriel del Toro (Mariposa de Barrio, Al Otro Lado del Muro).
Shot in Mexico City and in the northern state of Sonora, Mexico, the new season picks up two years after the suspenseful finale of its first installment, which ended with the escape of Diego (Franco) and Isabel (Sodi) with her children to the United States after intense persecution by Mateo (Yáñez). This new chapter of the story will find Diego and Isabel, who assumed new identities under the United States Federal Witness Protection Program, trying to start a new life in Nebraska; and while Diego struggles to adapt to his new identity, the change has helped Isabel gain self-confidence to better herself and her family.
Created by Perla Farías, the new season of Falsa Identidad is directed by Conrado Martínez, Sergio Osorio and Moisés Ortiz-Urquidi. Produced by Argos for Telemundo, the series is written by Perla Farías, Basilio Álvarez, Neida Padilla, Verónica Suárez and Felipe Silva, and is executive produced by Marcos Santana and David Posada for Telemundo and Epigmenio Ibarra for Argos.
