This new season kicks off with the Casillas family fighting to bring back Aurelio (Amaya) from his coma before his enemies get to him, while also launching a daring rescue operation to free Amado (Novoa), who surrendered to the authorities to avoid being judged by the Mexican legal system and has since been extradited to the United States.

We have raised the level of action, drama, danger, and cinematography, fueled by a cast of talented actors who have brought these characters to life over the past six seasons,” said Marcos Santana, president of Telemundo Global Studios.
