Telemundo concluded the first season of the hit reality competition, La Isla Desafío Extremo, with a primetime victory, ranking #1 in Spanish-language television on Monday, October 14th delivering 347,000 Adults 18-49, and 1.3 million Total Viewers in the 7pm-11pm timeslot.
The night kicked off with the grand finale of La Isla Desafío Extremo which delivered 1.3 million Total Viewers to rank #1 in its timeslot in the demo. In addition, during its full run, the freshman series averaged 964,000 total viewers, claiming the top spot among Spanish-language television programs in its timeslot.
Continuing its 11-week winning streak, El Conde: Amor y Honor ranked #1 in its 10pm timeslot delivering 355,000 Adults 18-49 and 1.2 million total viewers.
La Isla Desafío Extremo’s first season began with the arrival of 27 diverse personalities who gave their all in the most demanding competition on the planet, traveling 2,530 miles across Turkey and facing extreme temperature and environmental changes in search of the US$200,000 grand prize. Hosted by Javier Poza, the reality culminated Monday night with a thrilling live segment in which Adrián Di Monte was crowned the winner.
