Telemundo announced today that the 6th Annual Latin American Music Awards is back and will take place Thursday, April 15 from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida. The Latin AMAs, which was on hiatus in 2020 due to the pandemic, will be broadcast live on Telemundo starting at 7pm/6c with the red carpet pre-show followed at 8pm/7c by the awards show.
The three-hour special will be hosted by actress and host Jacqueline Bracamontes, who returns to host the show for a second time.
“During the last six years, the Latin AMAs has become a global platform for artists that truly resonate with their audience, as the winners are selected based solely on fans’ votes. We are excited to bring our viewers an impressive, star-studded musical event that will also extend across platforms with extensive and exclusive additional content. With award-winning actress and host Jacky Bracamontes at the helm, we’re certain it will be an incredible show,” said Ronald Day, president, Entertainment and Content for Telemundo.
The 2021 Latin AMAs will also broadcast simultaneously on the Spanish entertainment cable network, Universo, and throughout the Americas on Telemundo Internacional.
