Televisa Consumers Products continues its bet to take the brands El Chavo del Ocho and El Chapulin Colorado to all the platforms. The animated series of the latter will have exclusive presence in Blim. They will also prepare new animated specials for both. Other programs that complete their bet are La Familia Telerín and the Russian series Masha y el Oso. “The contents of Chespirito establish a precedent and leave a mark. It is a bet and a sound investment for Televisa. Therefore, together with the animated version of El Chapulín Colorado, we are building a platform that will become increasingly solid and which is exclusively on Blim. In this series we are trying to tap into the advantages of animation and technology to do things that we would have never been able to do in a traditional TV program”, commented Maca Rotter, executive director of Televisa Consumers Products. She highlighted that they will continue to generate content around these two properties, “mainly making the most of the fact that Televisa is the owner of the programs and we can now take them as special programs, creating strategies to add them to the diverse platforms”.She added that, aside from these two brands, Televisa’s main bet for 2016 is the launching, at the end of the year, of the series La Familia Telerín (52×7’), which they are co-producing together with Ánima Kitchen. They will also launch, on Canal 5, the children´s program Masha y el Oso, originally from Russia.
