Hermosa Esperanza (26×60) is a reality show with a format never before seen on TV. The project has been a year in the making, and Nestlé will be the official sponsor for this first season. We look to promote change in families, told PRODU producer Gabriel Vázquez. The show premiered on Televisa on August 30th at 2pm.Its a new, unprecedented format. In Mexico were used to the mechanics of reality competitions and thats valid, but in this case we want to offer quality of life: for people to understand our message and to apply it in their homes, so that they can improve their habits, said Vázquez.He says Televisa has been developing the show for a year and looking for the right balance: Weve been working on the show for about a year, consulting many experts such as nutritionists, communication experts, sociologists and physicians, until we got to the right place.Vázquez said Nestlé is the official sponsor of this first season and expects other brands to join: This is an important initiative for both Nestlé and Televisa, and we hope other companies will join for future seasons. The effort must be continuous. We want to generate a social flow and for people to get into this new mindset.
