Televisa presents in Mipcom three new entertainment formats: the talent show My Next Me (11×120´), the survival reality Domus, Surviving Mars (13×120´); and the game show Count with Me (13×60´).
“We have been dedicated to develop formats in diverse genres to cover more countries and broaden our client base. If you want to be a world player, you must generate contents that work in different screens,” stated Ricardo Ehrsam, director of Entertainment Formats at Televisa Internacional.
In My Next Me, three consecrated music idols will look for singers between 16 and 23 to turn them into the new music stars. The format will reach Mipcom with two episodes, already launched on Televisa´s Las Estrellas, under the title La Apuesta.
In Domus, Surviving Mars, 16 participants will struggle to be the most extreme survivor, worthy of inhabiting Mars; and Count with Me applies the science of numerology to help anonymous people and celebrities make decisions through numbers. “It is one of the newest formats. We are in pilot phase in two Latin American countries,” announced Ehrsam. The format will soon reach Spain.
The offer is completed with shinny-floor formats such as Pequeños Gigantes and Stand Up For Your Country and the sitcam Los González (30×30´), that combines situation comedies with hidden cameras. It also includes two game shows: The Assembly Game and Generation Gap, whose audience results in Mexico are so good that both programs will extend their broadcasts until December.
