Televisa Networks’ Unicable will premiere El Señor De Los Cielos in the Mexican market

Televisa Networks, through its channel Unicable, will start airing the series El Señor De Los Cielos, a co-production of Telemundo and Caracol TV, on April 7th at 8:30pm.Leading actors Rafael Amaya and Ximena Herrera, as well as Televisa Networks vice-president Bruce Boren and Joshua Mintz, VP of Scripted Programming of Telemundo Studios, were present at the screening for the press of the series’ first episode. They spoke about this product’s great international success, which is currently wrapping up production of its second season.“For Telemundo Studios it’s a pleasure for our series El Señor De Los Cielos, which was 100% produced in Mexico, to premiere on Unicable. It’s the result of many years of work that tells a fun and entertaining story,” said Mintz.Boren said this was an important series to have on Televisa Networks: “We hope it attracts a big audience, as it should, given the international success, especially in the U.S.” Amaya said he was honored to be part of this production and revealed his character would undergo important changes on the second season. “We’re now in the final stretch of the second season, which was possible due to the international success of its first run. We hope there is a third season. I just want to warn you the Aurelio Casillas of the first season is completely different from the one you’ll see on the second one,” he added.
