Televisa introduced to the media its new telenovela La Gata (130×60), produced by Nathalie Lartilleux. It stars Maite Perroni and Daniel Arenas and premieres Monday May 5th at 4:15pm, replacing Quiero Amarte.I believe in these stories and I want people to see that we live in a country with deep social divisions. It sends people the message that it can be done, perhaps this is a bit of a dream, but it will leave this moral to the audience within a story Im thrilled to be producing, Lartilleux told PRODU.La Gata is a screenplay by Inés Rodena, adapted by María Antonieta Calu, but it is two stories in one. It was a trunk without branches, and these we took from a different story entitled Rubí Rebelde, also by Inés, added Lartilleux. After producing Corazón Indomable, Lartilleux decided to cast again Daniel Arenas for the leading role of this new melodrama. She also chose a story adaptation where locations also play a leading role, with the story set in dumpsters around Mexico City.A cast that includes Pilar Pellicer, Laura Zapata, Erika Buenfil, Manuel Ojeda, Jorge Poza and Carlos Bonavides will join Perroni and Arenas.During the presentation, the actors appeared in character, and were introduced by the villain played by Laura Zapata.
