In a move to bring American football to a broader Mexican audience, TelevisaUnivision and the NFL have reached an agreement to broadcast the 2024, 2025, and 2026 seasons in Mexico.
“We are proud to extend our alliance with the NFL for another three years. Our commitment for the future remains the same as it has been for over 50 years: to provide millions of NFL fans in Mexico with the best coverage and broadcasts in the country,” said Olek Loewenstein, president of Global Sports at TelevisaUnivision.
Through various TelevisaUnivision platforms, fans will be able to watch 50 games (23 regular season and 12 postseason games exclusively on free-to-air TV, and 15 regular season games exclusively on the ViX streaming service), along with Super Bowl LIX, scheduled for February 2025. Additionally, TUDN, TelevisaUnivision’s sports division, will continue producing NFL Blitz, a Sunday program offering highlights and all the action surrounding the NFL.
“We are delighted to extend our partnership with TelevisaUnivision through the 2026 NFL season, following more than 50 successful years together. We constantly work to bring Mexican fans closer to NFL games, and this deal will provide an incredible sports experience with a wide range of league programming,” added Arturo Olivé, Managing Director of the NFL in Mexico.
Additionally, Izzi and Sky subscribers will be able to enjoy regular season games, the postseason, and the Super Bowl aired on Canal 5 and Nu9ve, as well as access NFL Network, the official NFL channel, offering special programming 24/7. Izzi and Sky subscribers will also have access to NFL Sunday Ticket.
With this offering, TelevisaUnivision and TUDN strengthen their leadership and reaffirm their commitment to providing the most extensive portfolio of sports content for their audiences, supported by the most experienced commentators and analysts.
