Televisión Dominicana will air special coverage of the Dominican Republic’s historic primary elections throughout the day on Sunday, October 6, starting at 7am ET/4am PT.
On October 6th, the Dominican Republic will hold its first simultaneous primary elections using automated voting. In this round of primary voting, the democratic process will allow voters to choose the candidates from the Dominican Liberation (PLD) and Modern Revolutionary (PRM) parties who will participate in the May 2020 general elections as representatives of each political organization.
Hosted by respected journalist, Alicia Ortega, Televisión Dominicana will air special coverage of the historic event starting at 7am and culminating in the evening at the close of the voting process, ensuring that U.S.-based Dominicans can stay abreast of the latest developments in the Caribbean country’s political proceedings.
