Presented by B+C and Multichannel News at the 21st Annual Hispanic TV Summit –Wednesday, September 13-, the awards for Leadership in Hispanic TV Media will go to Isabella Sánchez, HMC Chair, and VP Media Integration, Zubi Advertising (Award for Leadership in Hispanic TV Programming); Miguel Gurwitz, Sports Anchor, Soccer Analyst, and NFL Play-by-Play of NBCUniversal Telemundo (Award for Leadership in Hispanic TV Cultural Narrative); and Tony Hernández, founder/ CEO Immigrant Archive Project and Latino Broadcasting (Rafael Eli Award for Corporate Pioneer in Hispanic TV).
Another award is the Rafael Eli Award for Programming Pioneer in Hispanic TV – Corporate presented to Horowitz Research. Adriana Waterston, EVP, and Insights & Strategy Lead will accept the award. Also the Rafael Eli Pioneer in Hispanic TV Award – Programming, to be presented to ESPN Deportes, and Freddy Rolon, Head of Digital Content & Audience Expansion will accept on behalf of the channel.
