Alberto Santini emprende un nuevo proyecto con Azteca, el lanzamiento de la casa productora The Big Project Entertainment

After announcing his departure as general director of Azteca 13 (now El Trece), Alberto Santini announced his incorporation as founding partner and general director of the new production house The Big Project Entertainment, in partnership Ricardo Salinas Pliego. The company already has 33 original formats in production and another one on air, Sabes Quién Sabe, which currently airs on El Trece Sundays at 7pm.“Ricardo Salinas offered me a partnership to create a new production house, which has now been operating for three months, called The Big Project Entertainment. We already have our first show on air on El Trece under the title Sabes Quién Sabe, and we are working on two episodic series: one about justice and one about pawn shops. In total, we have about 33 original formats to offer in Mexico and abroad,” Santini told PRODU.He said the goal is to generate productions in all genres. For now, the company has dramas, realities, series, and tenelovelas (one of which will kick off production in 2015), and is already negotiating co-production deals with U.S. companies, “without losing sight that Mexico and Azteca are our main clients.”Lastly, Santini said the company’s presence in trade shows like NATPE and Mipcom is fundamental, as well as its presence on platforms like digital, OTT and pay-TV.
