The Kitchen tries to maintain normal operations

The Kitchen Covid19

It is the goal of The Kitchen to maintain as close to normal operations in all studio locations, while keeping their team members as safe and secure as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“While we recognize that may be a difficult, if not impossible goal, we are attempting to modify standard operating procedures, while maintaining quality standards and close communications with all of our clients. With the majority of our team working remotely (translators, adaptors, project managers, accounting, mixers and sales teams), we’ve drastically limited the number of personnel in the studios within The Kitchen group that remain operating”.

The Kitchen technical teams are now in the process of expanding, testing and implementing new home recording studios. This is because many of their talented voice actors do much of their work in their own studios regularly, “that we are able to continue to provide clients with voices that can be recorded without experiencing significant delays”.

They also said that all translation and subtitling operations continue to function as usual, with their US and UK-based translation teams all working remotely. Extraordinary safety and sanitary precautions have been implemented at each of our locations following strict WHO guidelines.

The Kitchen published an updated Heat Map covering all their locations and sharing the levels they are now working under.
