Apple announced that Apple TV+, the first entirely original video subscription service will be launched on November 1 in more than 100 countries at the price of US$4.99 per month.
The service will offer a line of original programs, films and documentaries such as The Morning Show, Dickinson and See, among others. And more originals will be added each month.
Additionally, clients who buy any Apple device can enjoy one year of the service for free, and through Family Sharing, up to six family members can share the subscription.
“With Apple TV+ we present entirely original stories from the most brilliant and creative minds and we know that viewers will find their new favorite program or film in our service,” explained Zack Van Amburgh, Head of Worldwide Video at Apple.
For this part, Jamie Erlicht, Head of Worldwide Video at Apple, added that this is an unprecedented global video service with entirely original programming. “We hope to offer the audience worldwide the opportunity to enjoy these convincing stories in a rich and personalized experience on all the screens they love.”
In the launch, most of the series will debut with three episodes and each week a new one will start. Subscribers can see the Apple TV+ originals on or offline, without advertising and on-demand, subtitled or dubbed in almost 40 languages.
