THR3 Media Group, Alameda Films, DM3 and Zamora Films are coming together for the production of the feature film Hasta Que La Suerte Nos Separe.
The film tells the story of Tino, a gym trainer who wins a huge fortune in the lottery, but after 15 years of squandering, ends up wasting it all. Now, bankrupt and incapable of telling his family, he will have to resort to his unpleasant neighbor Mauro to get out of this financial trouble. He will face his new position between confusions and a great deal of laughter, but without losing his most important core, his family.
Hasta Que La Suerte Nos Separe aims to repeat the success its first versión had in Brazil, Até Que A Sorte Nos Separe, which from 2012 to 2015 collected US$17 million together with the second and third part, thus becoming the most profitable trilogy of Brazilian cinema.
The Mexican talents that star in the film include Víctor Huggo Martín (Tino), and the co-star Mónica Huarte (his wife, Mónica). They will be accompanied by Silvia Navarro, Cristián de la Fuente, Angélica Aragón, Mijares, Juan José Origel, Daniel Hadad, among others.
Bruce Boren, CEO of THR3 Media Group, commented: “There has been great team chemistry and understanding between the three parts that are making this project possible. From the beginning, we knew the kind of product we wanted to achieve.”
For his part, Gerardo Morán Castellot, CEO of Zamora Films and director of the film, expressed: “I am sure that, aside from laughing hours, in Mexico and Latin America we are going to identify with Tino. We all have a bit of that idiosyncrasy in ourselves.”
“We will have a project that will be very important for Mexican cinema next year,” expressed the producer, Daniel Birman, who will produce Gerardo Morán Castellot´s opera prima.
