Timeworks, in co-production with High Hill, is producing the show Fenómenos Paranormales (10-15’), aired by Telemundo on its YouTube channel on Fridays at 6pm. On October 31 it will be launched by the channel on its app. To this date, three episodes have been aired: Las Casas del Mal, Desde Otras Galaxias, and Fantasmas en Tu Móvil.
It is the first production made for Telemundo Originals. Andrés Romero, partner and executive producer of Timeworks is the showrunner while Mireia Carrillo, CEO and executive producer of de Timeworks, is the Director and Executive Producer.
“There are many shows in the paranormal genre, but what makes Fenómenos Paranormales unique is that we joined both ghost stories with UFOs and chose an Afro-American presenter, Aneudy Lara for a fresh and entertaining touch,” explains Romero. Along with Lara, Carrillo is also a co-host, the same as the virtual co-host Zoe that offers information on each case. “Zoe narrates the videos as an artificial intelligence assistant”.
“We are trying to make the production as professional and as simple as possible. We use effects in the post-production: 8D sounds, Zoe the assistant, as a virtual link. We use YouTuber language,” explains Carrillo and adds that the realization took almost two years since they sold it to Telemundo until now. “The production was divided into many phases and was stopped due to covid. As a company, we are happy to have this product on Telemundo`s digital screen. It is a high-quality program,” she furthered.
