Toku, the 24/7 and On Demand television network dedicated to eye catching anime, popular live action titles and cult classics from Asia dubbed into English, announces the network premiere of four anime short film series.
This month Toku presents fourt short film series specials featuring highly-acclaimed Japanese titles that guarantee anime fans, all the action, excitement and entertainment they desire. Every week a new short film series will premiere starting on September 2, 2016.
To start the month Toku presents After School Midnighters that follows the adventures of a human anatomy dummy and his skeletal model side-kick. Based on the popular movie by the same name, the series depicts the secret life that unfolds at school after midnight (Friday, September 2, 2016 at 9:45pm EST).
On September 8, 2016 Toku at 8pm EST the network will showcase Darkness Boy Santa, an animated horror series about evil emissary sent by the Great Devil King to bring balance between hell and earth.
Another exciting title premiering this month is Kowabon, an unusual horror story which examines the possibility of there being a darker side to the digital age. This sinister and supernatural series will air on September 15 at 8pm EST.
To end the month Toku will present Homeshika, a comedic how-to guide for employers on how to praise or criticize their employees. This animated short film series will premiere on September 22, 2016 at 8pm EST.
