Tsunun announced new projects for Q1 2024, which include feature films, non-scripted series, and a fiction series with comedy elements.
“We are working with outstanding talents and seeking co-production, financing, and distribution partners for 2024. Our priority continues to be offering moving and entertaining proposals,” said Valeria Nardecchia, co-founder of Tsunun.
For the non-scripted series, Tsunun partnered with the renowned journalist and anchor Patricia Janiot, a prominent figure with over 35 years of experience as a correspondent and presenter for CNN en Español and Univisión. Together, they have devised five series that explore themes of great human relevance that will be presented for the first time at Content Americas.
“I am thrilled about the possibility of conducting these projects. We have outlined five ideas with the main purpose of giving voice and visibility to characters and stories that are interesting and deeply human. Our goal is to generate empathy, inspiration, and learning, and at the same time, welcome different points of view,” said Janiot.
Regarding feature films, Tsunun will focus on two comedy projects for the first quarter of next year: El Baile and Anatomía de un Divorcio. Both feature renowned writers and directors such as Pedro Levati, director and screenwriter with experience in Netflix, Starz+, Flow and Cont.ar, who has participated in productions such as El Buen Retiro, Millenials S3 and Noche de Amor; Gisela Benenzon, known for her work on Netflix, Telefe, Pol-ka, Televisa and Azteca TV, who has contributed to hits such as Apache: La Vida de Carlos Tevez and GO! Vive a tu Manera, and Gabriel Korenfeld (Matrimillas for Netflix, Ecos de un Crimen for Warner and HBO Max, and Permitidos directed by Ariel Winograd for Patagonik and Disney).
In addition to projects and books, Tsunun represents a diverse catalog spanning first-run feature films and nature and sports documentaries, with rights available for worldwide distribution.
