TVN Chile: Working on expanding our signals on OTT and streaming

TVN Chile´s pay-TV signals continue in the expansion. TV Chile, present in the market for 28 years, today gathers more than 12 million subscribers in Latin America, plus 3 million additionally in the US and Canada. It also reaches Australia, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Spain and Norway and, through the app TVN Play, the signal is available worldwide.
Alexis Piwonka, International Business manager at TVN Chile, mentioned that the network places great attention on offering attractive programming, and, on the other hand, they are working on expanding the signal thanks to the opportunities platforms such as OTT and streaming offer.
For his part, the news signal Canal 24 horas have become the most watched channel in Chile, even exceeding (in adults) entertainment signals. Canal 24 horas also reach several countries in Latin America through DIRECTV, Peru on Movistar and Argentina through some small cable operators, although they are still in conversations with bigger operators.
