The U.S. television premiere on Cinelatino of box office blockbuster Instructions Not Included on Sunday, October 25, is the highest-rated non-sports program in Spanish-language cable for the 2015-16 season-to-date (beginning on September 21, 2015), among both Persons 2-99 and Adults 18-49, according to Nielsen. Cinelatino premiered the movie with back-to-back showings at 9pm and 11pm ET, both of which outperformed every other Spanish-language cable network, among them Galavisión, Discovery en Español, ESPN Deportes, FOX Deportes, as well as every Spanish-language broadcast network other than Univision and Telemundo. Among Adults 18-49, the 9pm ET premiere delivered 269,000 viewers, with an additional 136,000 viewers for the 11pm showing, for a cumulative audience of 405,000 viewers among this coveted demo. In Persons 2-99, Cinelatino cumed 689,000 Total Viewers, pulling in 415,000 viewers during the 9pm premiere. Instructions Not Included (No Se Aceptan Devoluciones) holds the spot as the highest-grossing Spanish-language film ever released in the U.S. Were thrilled that another one of our premieres has set ratings records and put us ahead of every other Spanish-language cable network, including networks with much broader distribution. The overwhelming audience turnout reaffirms our successful programming strategy of delivering the biggest and most-recent Latino blockbusters, and solidifies our position as one of the top destinations in Spanish-language television, said James McNamara, Vice Chairman of Hemisphere Media Group, Cinelatinos parent company.
