UniMás offering dramatic series as Señorita Pólvora, De-Mente Criminal and En la Boca del Lobo during upfront 2014

Developed especially for Hispanic millennials, UniMás brings a different perspective to Spanish-language television.For the upfront 2014 the network will offer, among its dramatic series, Señorita Pólvora (Monday – Friday, Primetime, Sony Pictures Television/Televisa); El Varón de la Droga, this dramatic series tells the real story of “the most powerful drug trafficker in the world,” “El Chapo” Guzmán, according to the U.S. Department of the Treasury (Monday – Friday, Primetime); De-Mente Criminal, starring Sebastián Ligarde, María Fernanda Yépez and Lorena Rojas (Monday – Friday, Primetime, Cisneros Media); and La Fiesta del Chivo, based on the novel by Mario Vargas Llosa and set in the 1950s, this is the real story of the Dominican Republic’s abusive dictator, Rafael Trujillo. It was written by Kiko Olivieri and counts Patricio Wills as executive producer (Monday – Friday, Primetime, RTI).Also from Sony Pictures Television, UniMás brings En la Boca del Lobo, the story of Ricardo Salgado who, after losing his best friend and family, is willing to give up the Cali Cartel to the CIA, but when the operation goes south, he must fight to stay alive.
