Maribel Ramos-Weiner| 26 de agosto de 2014

Under the new Univision Local Media Group structure, -that groups TV and radio station and digital in all markets where Univision has presence-, general managers and directors of sales will handle all three areas for their respective markets.“We have reorganized and assembled a single leadership team at the corporate level. I’ve asked two senior executives to join me on my corporate team, including Univision Radio president José Valle and Alberto Mier y Terán, our L.A. general manager from TV. Mier y Terán along with Jaime Jiménez, our GM from L.A. radio, will both lead our operational day-to-day station group as executive vice-presidents of Local Media, along with Lee Davis who was the EVP of Sales for Radio and who will now serve the entire local organization,” told PRODU, Kevin Cuddihy, president of Local Media of Univision Communications Inc.As a result of this restructuring, some executives now have expanded responsibilities, others changed roles within the company or left, as was the case of Mike Rodríguez (Miami) and Larry Sands (Puerto Rico). At the same time, Univisión is investing in other areas such as new business development and pricing and planning.Cuddihy said that the new structure is a move to remain at the forefront of their industry, “delivering comprehensive multi-platform solutions to our clients and better serving a diverse audience is what drove us to this.”
