Univision Network announced today that Verizon Wireless is a key integrated sponsor of its new one-of-a-kind variety game show El gran show (The Big Show), which premiered last Sunday, December 5 at 8pm, and is hosted by popular actor and comedian Jaime Camil and Carla Medina, the young TV personality, as co-host.“With El gran show, our partners have a unique platform to connect with Hispanic American families across the country,” said David Lawenda, president of Advertising Sales and Marketing, Univision Communications, Inc.The game board of El gran show’s set will mirror the design of a Verizon Wireless phone, including lighting, animation and sound, giving the appearance of a giant phone. In addition to significant branding on set, Verizon will sponsor weekly challenges where the five contestants of the show will use various applications and Droid handsets to aid them in winning the games.
